Having worked in education for over a decade, I have seen firsthand the challenges that many children and young people face — whether through difficult personal circumstances, financial barriers, limited opportunities, or a lack of accessible support. At the same time, I have seen some incredible professionals and organisations supporting them, facing their own challenges!

Nexa was created from a belief that greater impact can be achieved when people, organisations, and communities work together with a shared purpose.

Our aim is to bring together organisations, professionals, businesses, and community partners from a wide range of sectors to create amazing opportunities, experiences and long-term outcomes for vulnerable children and young people across the UK.

We also want Nexa to provide an opportunity for individuals and organisations who may not traditionally work within this space to get involved, build understanding, and make a genuine difference. This is not about ticking boxes — it is about creating meaningful impact, raising awareness, and building a community of people who genuinely care.

At the heart of Nexa is a culture built on collaboration, inclusivity, authenticity, and measurable impact. We believe that by working together, sharing ideas, and creating opportunities collectively, we can build something that not only supports young people today but also helps shape brighter futures for years to come.
